DECEMBER 2024 Admissions (Academic Year 2024 – 25 Batch 2)

Eligibility

A candidate seeking admission to the PhD program MUST fulfill the following eligibility criteria

1. Indian Qualifications

Degree Qualified Eligibility Criteria
A 1-year/2-semester master's degree programme from an institution / university recognized by UGC / respective regulatory body after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme
OR
A 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme from an institution / university recognized by UGC / respective regulatory body after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme
60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent in master degree
4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme from an institution / university recognized by UGC / respective regulatory body 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade
MBBS/BDS/PharmD degree from an institution / university recognized by UGC / respective regulatory body 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade
2. Foreign Qualifications

• Candidates with master’s degrees or equivalent from foreign universities will have to produce a certificate of recognition / equivalency by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), as equivalent to the corresponding Indian degrees, for the purpose of higher studies.
3. Deakin – MAHE Cotutelle Program

• If you are seeking admission to the Deakin-MAHE Cotutelle Program, you need to have a minimum of 70%. As and when the information is available regarding the program, it will circulated amongst all PhD students of MAHE Manipal

2. Registration Fee paid by the candidate at the time of application is Non-Refundable. MAHE Manipal will NOT entertain any request for fee refund under any circumstances
3. MAHE Manipal reserves the right to re-schedule the test at its sole discretion, without assigning any reasons thereof, and as warranted by the circumstances
